What we think ABOUT sex I think matters alot, plus our EXPERIENCES with it, I suspect makes a big difference...like
1.. Do we think we're entitled to it (like a man might if he's dated a woman)
2. Do we think it's an obligation (like many women have been taught in the past)
3. Do we watch a lot of porn (like many men do)
4. Do we think sex is defined by God (like religious people do)
5. Do we sexualize women in our media (like in magazines, TV and films)

And sexual trauma (rape/molestation) and it's effects is a HUGE issue all by itself..!!

So it's not really surprising to me that many people struggle with sex, for all kinds of reasons (like mentioned above)..and I'm not surprised that many women don't enjoy it.

I do hope things get better. I do think talking about it more helps, so thank you Christiana for sharing your thoughts and experiences with us.
