No one deserves to be harassed or intimidated, for any reason...
I don't know how many women have "checked out", but I can understand if a woman feels unsafe and decides to be more careful and wary of the men she deals with online...
But if online isn't a "safe space", why not find other spaces to meet, talk and socialize with men..
The reality is bc of the anonymity of the internet, people will probably act differently (less inhibited) than they would in real life..
I do wonder about women who feel this way and also vote for misogynistic men like Donald Trump..bc you can't have it both ways..
