It rarely happens when a person starts a conversation off target, then ends up in a thoughtful and reasonable place... that's why I had little interest in the rest of the article...

For example, let's say you're talking to your boyfriend/husband about money and he starts with, "I'm a Man"...

It's the kind of ego driven comment that's supposed to show some kind of important difference between a person or group when the difference is non existent, and instead it's just a dismissive, arrogant claim from the person who makes it that asserts a false belief that, "I'm right", because of WHAT I am..

In short, it's entitlement.

In this case, that's what one of your first comments, "I'm a Constitutionalist" represents..

So I immediately lost interest in this article..
